Petition Action

Allow 16 year olds to have a say in the general elections.

Petition Details

We are always voting for something which will eventually effect our future in the UK. I.e Brexit.

As being younger we will suffer the effects the longest in the UK.

I am 16 and pay tax and NI to contribute to these political parties so why cant I have my say too

Additional Information

I understand people may believe that 16 is too young to vote and have a say and we "aren't educated" but this goes for may above 20 and if not 30. Its who you are not what your date of birth is.

Why should I find Brexit through my taxes I pay when I work when I didn't actually get a say if I wanted it to happen unlike everyone else.

Especially as this will effect my generation the most.
