Allow for first time buyers to apply for a mortgage with a 0% deposit
With current heights of property prices within UK this makes any deposits almost unreachable for most first time buyers especially for young families with kids

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Banks and building societies decide what mortgages they are willing to offer.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government to set up a new scheme to help subsidise the cost of a home for first time buyers, if that is what you would like to happen.
