Petition Action

Provide proper NHS funded care for elderly people and stop penalising them.

Petition Details

My elderly father was troubled in his later years by threats to charge him for care. He was told that he might have to pay the best part of £1,000 a week for a care home, something which he refused to accept. The NHS was supposed to provide care from cradle to grave. Getting old is not a crime.
