Cull/control seagull population in urban environment

Additional Information

Seagulls are becoming a major nuisance in urban areas, inflicting noise disturbance, damage to property and residents and a possible health hazard. If the disturbance was caused by people, domestic or farm animals a control order would be issued so why should we not be protected by the same rules with seagulls? DEFRA should be called to account on this matter, stop passing the buck, and protect residents from this problem.
