Impose a mandatory fixed fine for those who inflict violence on healthcare staff
Violence and aggression is increasing in the Health Service and the the 2018 violence reduction strategy and 2018 Violence Act are not deterring offences enough. More must be done to prevent such attacks. Impose a mandatory fine on perpetrators and put that money back into patient care.

Continuing rise in assaults leads to poor moral, staff vacancies and poor care. A wide range of evidence available proves an annual increase with not enough deterrents available. I call for a Legally binding Fixed Penalty charge notice for perpetrators of £50-100
