Stop oversubscription of doctor training
This year 81 medical students completed their 5 year university programme, only to find there were insufficient Foundation Year 1 places, which is a prerequisite to register with the GMC.
Therefore they are unable to qualify as a doctor which means they can't work.
Financially this doesn't make sense for the medical student or for the taxpayer. The Health Secretary needs to address this issue urgently.
If we can obtain 100,000 signatures then the issue will be raised in the House of Commons.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
