MPs elected on there mandate, cannot resign and represent another party
Many MPs have been elected to represent their constituents, based on several factors. The party they are representing, their manifesto, local knowledge and maybe personality.
It is wrong that they can change their loyalty part way through a term and support another party
It is less than 2 years since MPs where selected by their party to represent them at the Election
The general public voted for them based on the party and the manifesto
The public have been let down by many MPs resigning from their party and stood as independent, some MPs then moved again to Another party.
They where elected to represent their constituent.
MPs can resign from a party, but cannot Continue as a MP until they have been re selected by their constituents
