why should motorcycles pay £91 vehicle tax when many cars are less or even zero?

Petition Details

Especially when given the lower weight, fuel consumption and congestion busting they should be considered a solution to alternative transport from cars, this includes blanket ULEZ charges for older vehicles when many are cleaner than some modern ones!!
This is discrimination!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you're concerned about the level of tax on motorcycles, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could ask for specific changes to the tax rules.
