Urge India to stop its recent military crackdown and takeover of Kashmir and reverse its new policy which denies the residents of Kashmir their democratic right for self-determination according to United Nations plebiscite of 1948.

Kashmiri's of all faiths deserve a free and fair referendum

Background detail of Kashmir issue.

In 1948, the United Nations Security Council decided that the issue of Kashmir’s future should be determined by a plebiscite. UN Security Council resolutions are international law and, as this resolution has not been withdrawn, Kashmir’s future should be decided by its terms.
Kashmir's right of self-determination and is intact, genuine and legal in the eyes of international law.
Fatalities in Kashmir in last 70 years exceed 70,000.
