UK Government to pass into law legal obligation 2 protect UK citizens abroad
Today over 2000 UK citizens are in jail around the world , 1000 without charge , in Iran Nazanin Zachary-Ratcliffe a UK citizen has been in jail almost 4 years without any details of her charges being made public whilst her 5 year old child has grown up without her Mum & Dad UK citizens
We at the Kath Duncan Equality & Civil Rights Network support British Rights Abroad Group campaign & believe that if the Government has in law, a legal obligation , families of victims will have a better chance of securing their love ones' release

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about protections for UK citizens when they're abroad, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
