Introduce a meat and dairy tax to offset environmental and health costs
Production of animal products are one of the key drivers to climate change. If we have a higher tax rate on petrol, it stands to reason we should do the same for animal products.
Additionally, meat and dairy drives poor health, adding strain on the NHS. This is the same reasoning for the sugar tax
