Discuss the notion that a no deal Brexit is not the legal default.

Petition Details

Legal experts have argued that, because the UK Parliament has not authorised withdrawal from the EU, we have not decided to withdraw according to our own constitutional requirements. As such, in both British and EU law, we do not exit the EU simply because the Article 50 deadline passes.
