Discuss the notion that a no deal Brexit is not the legal default.
Legal experts have argued that, because the UK Parliament has not authorised withdrawal from the EU, we have not decided to withdraw according to our own constitutional requirements. As such, in both British and EU law, we do not exit the EU simply because the Article 50 deadline passes.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
