Require that people pass basic politics test before registering to vote

Petition Details

We believe only those who can prove they have a basic understanding of the political system should be able to register to vote.

Additional Information

This would be a sensible way for our society make better, more informed decisions by ruling out any obviously ignorant voices. It is especially needed now due to the noticeable increase in the purposeful spread of disinformation by the media and some politicians. The test could, for example, take the format of 5 short but central multiple choice questions with irrefutable answers. E.g. "What does ECJ stand for"? This would ensures the voting process is still fair, equal and open to all.
