Make it law that all hospital parking charges are to go to the NHS not APCOA
Private company's are monopolising car parking for hospitals receiving thousands of pounds a day that could be given to the NHS. APCOA and other companies should be made to give all profits from Hospital parking to the NHS by law.
Having spent alot of time in hospital recently it has been made apparent that the upwards of £10 to £20 a day parking charges are going to private company's. Why? https://www.apcoa.co.uk/ own and run the majority of car parks in the UK for the NHS and are only giving them a fraction of the profit, I would like to see the NHS benefit from all the profits of the car parking we pay to visit for appointments etc.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The decision on the use of car parking providers is a matter for individual NHS trusts.
