Acknowledge that there is no democratic mandate for leaving the EU with no deal
Leaving the EU with no deal is such a different prospect from the expectations set by the Leave campaign (we would leave with a deal, easily achieved) that the mandate from the EU Referendum cannot be said to apply to any policy, strategy, action or inaction that involves a no-deal exit from the EU.
