Change *special educational needs* To *personal educational needs*
I and my 12 year old daughter believe that the word *special * in special educational needs is a source of isolation and is often used to RIDICULE those who are already feeling not at one and suffering from low esteem and a lack of confidence
You can often hear people calling others *special* in a condescending manner for eg ooohhhhh look at them they are so *special* .
At schools those on 'Sen' are often ridiculed and isolated
