Grant citizenship to people in Hong Kong who apply for it

Petition Details

Yesterday, 1.7 Million Hong Kong citizens marched against the threat of the PRC eroding their autonomy, met by a brutal police response. Pro-British sentiment is still alive there.

We can still guarantee them freedom by offering them sanctuary here.

Additional Information

On the 1st of July 1997 the UK agreed to hand over the territory of Hong Kong to the People's Republic of China on the basis that the Communist Party would allow it to continue as an autonomous democracy.

On the 5th of July this year protesters hung a Union Jack inside the HK Legislature.
