Increase the separation between religion and public policy
Only 16% of the UK is actually Church of England Protestant. In 2019, the taxpayer can no longer subsidize religion.
We are calling for more separation between religion and the state.
We would like:
An end to Bishops and archbishops sitting as members of the House of Lords without being democratically elected.
An end to state funding of religious schools.
This is currently all being paid for by the taxpayer.
