Petition Action

Block any attempt to raise the retirement age to 75 years of age.

Petition Details

The hard working People of this country deserve to enjoy retirement at a reasonable age not work on to 75yrs old.
That is if they make it to 75yrs old.
MPs don't work half as hard as people like me, they retire with huge pensions compared to your average person. All paid by taxpayers.

Additional Information

Why should I and every other person that's been paying into the state pension pot for on average 50yrs by the time we hit 67yrs old have to work on for yet another 8 years because Iain Duncan Smith thinks it's a good idea to make people like me work til they die and can't draw their hard earned pittance of a pension which for me is only about a 3rd of my weekly earnings. How am I supposed to live on that income??
