Make a trade embargo with Brazil and help send a message to Brazil
Brazil is doing horrible, terrible things to the Amazon rainforest - the president Jair Bolsonaro is cutting down massive amounts of forest in order to create economic growth for the country. He is killing numerous animals and plants - why? Purely for economic gain.
A trade embargo would send the message that the UK does not take these issues lightly and that we are prepared to stand for the good of the world
Due to Bolsonaro's actions:
500 million bees have died due to him legalising harmful pesticides
Deforestation in the Amazon has shot up
Smoke from forest fires has engulfed São Paulo
Something like a trade embargo would be the first step in showing Brazil we don't tolerate the destruction of the earth - and may inspire the international world too!
