Petition Action

Make newspapers print corrections with equal prominence to original articles

Petition Details

The UK press is the least trusted in Europe (Press Gazette) and the most influential papers often print false headlines, then when forced to publish a correction, print it in an obscure location. Being forced to publish the correction prominently would make editors think twice before printing lies.
