Align MP's pension entitlement date with that of their constituents
To ensure eqality MP's should conform to the legislative time frames they set for their constituents, they therefore should not be able to take their pensions early.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for deciding on MPs' pay and pensions. This is the responsibility of the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA), which is independent of both Parliament and Government.
You could start a new petition calling on the UK Government to change the pension age for the State Pension if that is something you would like to see happen.
