Fire Engine Helicopters to be taken from Japan and used to tackle Amazon Fire
The Amazon Rainforest has been burning for around 34 days and to lack of media coverage we are only just finding out (22.08.19). The home to many people and wildlife is being destroyed every second. We can pray for rain but in the mean time I feel it is up to us to take action where we can.
The Fire Engine Helicopter AW139 and AW169 is currently operating in Tokyo, Shizuoka, Fukushima and Yamaguchi fire agencies. The AW189 helicopters were recently delivered to Malaysian and Seoul Fire Departments. Due to the intensity of the fire and the density of the forest I feel from above is the best way to tackle the fire.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Government and Parliament would not be responsible for deciding to use these helicopters.
