Pressure President Bolsonaro to act now and end the burning of the Amazon.
An area of the Amazon rainforest, measuring roughly the same size as the UK, in Brazil has been ablaze for the last 3 week.
I urge the UK government to put pressure on President Bolsonaro and all levels of Government in Brazil to act now in putting an end to the burning of the Amazon rainforest.
I am asking that the UK government recognise this is the international crisis that it is and acknowledge that this is a result of President Bolsonaro openly anti-environmental policy. I ask that the UK Government understand the server impact that this tragedy will have globally if no action is taken to bring this to an end.
