Stop PGL from opening outdoor activity centres in quiet rural villages
Activity company PGL are moving to quiet villages & erecting activity structures near people who moved there for tranquility or respite. Operate 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. 100,s of kids doing adrenalin activities outside. Needs catered for on site so tourism & benefit to local business limited.
Bawdsey Manor in East Suffolk opened in 2018. Had extensive wildlife and residential properties on its boundary in open countryside.
Newly Wiske in Hambleton received planning permission this year. PGL will dominate the village with guest numbers far in excess of the entire village population.
Acquired site in Sedlescombe in the countryside. Includes ancient woodland & priority species BAP habitat where activity structures will be sited, close to residential gardens.
