Ban the sale of 500ml plastic bottles.
Making responsible choices and moving away from environmentally damaging packaging is not something that should be placed solely upon the consumer's shoulders. It is almost impossible to find anything other than a plastic bottle in a supermarket if you want just a single serving sized drink.
The simple step of discontinuing the sale of 500ml plastic bottles and increasing the sale of more easily recyclable aluminium cans would allow for the continued consumption of multiple products while reducing the amount of unnecessary plastic going into landfill.
