Make it illegal for MPs to leer and jeer like adolescent boys during debates.
During debates, MPs jeer and sneer at each other in a way which we would never let children get away with. Such behaviour in schools is punished and yet when it comes to the highest echelons of government, it becomes acceptable for elected officials to shout a jeer at one another.
In no other field of adult communication would such behaviour ever be considered acceptable; we demand that politicians hold themselves to higher standards and refrain from such childish behaviour while taking an enormous salary.
