Petition Action

Do Not pass a no confidence motion in government

Petition Details

Continue proroguing parliament so that brexit can be delivered. People have voted for Brexit, so bringing the government down that is delivering brexit is undemocratic.

Additional Information

Passing a no confidence motion by parliament is not what the people of Britain want as proroguing parliament is the only way to deliver Brexit

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

Political parties can ask their MPs to vote in a particular way on any vote. However, the decision is still made by the individual MPs, rather than the Government or Parliament as a whole.
