Ban the advertising and endorsement of internal combustion engines.
Pollutants from Internal combustion engines (petrol/diesel vehicles) on your country’s roads are having detrimental effects on your health and those around you.
In 2003 the advertisement of tobacco was outlawed, from Tv in 1965!
The advertising of internal combustion engines should be banned,
this should include a ban on "endorsement" – meaning a company/organisation/business/celebrity/other cannot sponsor/advertise or put its/their name on a vehicle with an internal combustion engine.
Help stop glorifying that which kills men, women and children every year!
Everyone is talking about it. Not just vehicles but plastics and energy generation.
Clean Air Strategy 2019;
"Air quality is the largest environmental health risk in the UK. It shortens lives and contributes to chronic illness."
“There are small things we can all do that will make a big difference to emissions locally and nationally.”
“Effective communication of health messages about air pollution and appropriate action can save lives and improve quality of life for many" Make a difference!
