Ban the use of palm oil in food and cosmetic products
Many products which previously did not contain palm oil now do.
Global demand for palm oil has lead to huge areas of rainforest being cleared, contributing to climate change. Indigenous communities lose their land and animal species are endangered. Palm oil can also have negative health effects.
There is a great deal of information on the internet - the Rainforest Rescue website, for example.
