National Living Wage should be applied across all age groups of working age.
National Minimum wage is a form of legal discrimination against younger workers, who are not necessarily in school. It is unfair that up until the age of 25 years old, workers can be legally paid less for the same work. This should be written into the Equality Act 2010.
25 years and over: £8.21
21- 24 years old: £7.70
18- 20 years: £6.15
Under 18: £4.35
Apprentice: £3.90
