Tackling the Deficit Fairly

Additional Information

In order to tackle the deficit, I propose that the Government impose a 50p per week tax for everyone over 18 years of age to pay, whether they're on the out of work benefits or not, until the deficit has been cleared. Then we would really be "all in this together". They could attach it to earnings or benefits. Then benefits need not be adjusted or taken away from people.
