Stop the anti-democratic process of filibustering in both Houses of Parliament.
Too many MPs and Lords have resorted to ‘talking out’ motions. This prevents these motions from having the time to be properly discussed and move through the stages of due democratic process.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take to stop filibustering.
The Speaker and his deputies already have powers to stop MPs from filibustering if their speech repeats itself or is irrelevant to the debate. It's a decision for the person chairing the debate as to whether the MP speaking is breaching those rules or not. The House can also vote to bring a debate to an end early in order to secure a decision. This is called a "closure motion".
You could start a new petition setting out clearly what further action you would like taken.
