Increase UK woodland cover to 25%, cities tree cover to 30% within 5 years

Petition Details

UK is one of the least forested countries in Europe, where on average forest cover is 30-35%. This will strongly contribute in achieving a zero carbon emission, restore wildlife and improve people’s wellbeing.

Additional Information

Government targets are largely inadequate and too far in the future. We must act now.
