By-Elections when MP's no longer represent the party they were were elected to.
The recent history of British Politics, has shown an almost farcical arrogance of many elected members of Parliament. Numerous MP's have changed their political parties, crossing the floor and even setting up new political parties (no matter how short lived).
MP's are in the elected office to campaign for the views and wishes of their constituents, not for their own gain or personal view. In such situations where an MP take's the decision (to no longer represent the political party there were elected to as an MP), There should automatically be a requirement in law, to hold a by-election to allow the views of the constituents to be heard effectively.
