Have a binding Remain or No Deal referendum alongside a general election
Whatever our current PM might say, he does not have a mandate. There was no clear majority at the last general election, the referendum was advisory only and nobody knew what leave might actually mean.
How can it be undemocratic to now seek a binding mandate? So please sign this petition seeking a binding referendum on Remain or No Deal – we know what both look like now. If we are to have a general election, then there is no excuse not to ask this discrete question alongside the general vote.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
