Replace all politicians with a democracy app. True democracy at our fingertips.
Surely with available technology we can do away with parliament all together. Rather than having MPs with their own agendas, egos and ambitions,splurging out falsehoods and sound bytes and playing party (not country) politics.We the people can represent ourselves via an app.
A simple yes / no to policies put fwd by the public and civil service to run the country effectively and efficiently. Panels of “actual experts” acting impartially would represent the facts and discuss the issues for and against. We would be required to watch these discussions and read the reports online prior to submitting our decision.
True democracy, true and full representation and sound byte free.
