Drivers certificate of professional competence
The drivers cpc that has been introduced has not been thought out or planned properly it is causing drivers to lose pay or holiday entitlement in order to complete it and it is causing companies to lose man hours where drivers have to have time off because of tachograph regulations.
The CPC is split into 5 modules where the drivers spend 7 hours each year for 5 years just watching a video no questionaire or certificate to show you have completed the course how does this help to make driving for a living safer it is in my opinion just another money spinner for the government and the companies responsible for running the courses the whole process needs to be taken back to the table and looked at again to find a better solution
