Make MPs who stand down from their party face an automatic by election
Currently elected MPs are allowed to defect to another party and cross the floor with almost immediate effect. Those who do this no longer represent their constituents on the manifesto and beliefs they were elected upon. MPs who stand down from their party should face an automatic by election.
