to stop mp's switch political parties and not holding a by election
i wish to have this petition started in order to stop mp's of all political parties from changing to another political party without holding a by election. the party they move from will not have the same manifesto as the one they move to.
with what has happened of late regarding mp's not getting the result they wanted and have changed to a different party. they were elected by their constituents on a certain manifesto promise, but when they move to another party, the same constituents may have voted for someone else,as when an mp moves to another party,that party will have had a different manifesto. this results in my opinion a mis representation of constituents
