Brexit: Reopen discussion of a border in the Irish Sea
If Northern Ireland remains permanently in the Single Market and Customs Union, while remaining part of the UK, the need for the backstop is eliminated. The DUP would object but they are no longer needed for a Government majority in Parliament.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, for example calling on the Government to negotiate with the EU about a border in the Irish Sea after the UK exits the EU.
