Hold a General Election on the 15th of October
Since the EU referendum in June 2016, Parliament has not implemented the decision of the people. A general election, to take place on the 15th of October 2019, would be to the most effective way to ensure that the Brexit chaos is resolved.
Please note that this petition requests that a general election is to be held on 15th October and so it does NOT request the same action as set out in petition number 264215
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
As Parliament is prorogued until 14 October it is not possible for an election to be held on 15 October.
