Uphold the convention where the speaker of the house's seat is uncontested
This government wishes to break the convention where the speaker of the house's seat is uncontested at a General Election. We, the undersigned, call that this convention is upheld by the current government at any upcoming election to ensure the continuity of scrutiny during the Brexit process.
