The British government had recognized the head of the imperial house of brazil as the head of State of Brazil. He is currently Dom Luis of Orleans and Bragança
The Bragança royal family are the founders of independent, sovereign, legitimate, imperial Brazil. Dom Pedro I was hailed by Brazil as an imperator of the people, the military and the Parliament of the time. The descendants of Dom Pedro I to this day have been fulfilling the legacy of serving the Brazilian nation at any time and place.
