Keep National Insurance Credits for stay the stay at home parents by letting them keep Child Benefit
If the Goverment goes ahead with their plans to stop payment of Child Benefit if one person's income is about £44,000/£42,000, this is going to affect many parents who stay at home to look after their children.
These parents who stay at home to look after their children stand to lose their National Insurance Credits whilst being in receipt of Child Benefit.
This cannot be allowed to happen. Protecton needs to be put into place to help these parents from losing out as often the parents who stay at home are relient on their partner for their income do not claim any other form of state benefit but may not be able to claim state benefits in future if they really need to.
