Create a badge for Parents to apply for to display in Parent & Child parking bay
Parents are finding it more and more difficult to park in Parent & Child parking spaces at Supermarkets etc due to other members of the public parking in these spaces without children. I am calling on the government to create a badge, similar to disabled parking, for parents to apply for.
By creating a badge for Parent and Child parking, it allows for members of the public without children that park in these bays to be easily identified and fined. In turn, this will reduce the amount of people parking in bays without children.
The badges could be provided with a child’s red book at birth expecting on the child’s 12 birthday (or appropriate age where Parent & Child parking is no longer necessary)
