Petition Action

Make Brexit Tax Deductible to EU/UK Citizens denied from voting in Referendum

Petition Details

Don't make our retirees in the EU and our hard working EU colleagues in the UK pick up our bills. Nearly 1M British people living in the EU and over 3M EU citizens living in Britain were denied a vote in the 2016 referendum. Make the cost of Brexit Tax Deductible to them immediately.

Additional Information

Brexit has not even got started yet the cost of Brexit is already estimated by S&P Global Ratings at 66 Billion Pounds and growing. The UK is at the brink of recession. The Pound has hit rock bottom. Those who were left without a say should not be further punished for the 2016 referendum result. Leave them out of it by making the cost of Brexit tax deductible to them.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure exactly what you mean by making leaving the EU tax deductible.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
