Make None Epileptic Attack Dissorder (N.E.A.D) A Recognised Disability.
I've been diagnosed with N.E.A.D. since May 2018 and this has changed my life totally.
So many life activities have changed for my safety including leaving home, visiting the toilet, bathing is just the start.
I have lost my independence so have many many other people.
This illness is a chronic condition. Attacks leave the sufferer unable to function for large periods of time and feeling very vulnerable in daily life.
Symptoms include:
Shaking/Fitting
Falling to the ground
Loss of feeling to the Limbs
Confusion
Loss of memory
Inability to move
Lose of bladder control
Convulsion like movements
Feeling unreal
Dithering
A drop in body temperature
Going blank
Extreme tiredness
Please help me us get the recognition we deserve to function on a day to day basis.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Laws and policies, including the Equality Act, don't list specific conditions and define them as disabilities. In most cases, it’s the impact that a health condition has on the person’s life that qualifies them for support or protection under the law.
You can find out more about showing that you're disabled under the Equality Act here:
www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/discrimination/protected-characteristics/showing-you-re-disabled-under-the-equality-act/
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do to support people who are suffering from N.E.A.D., for example to increase funding for research into and treatment of the condition.
