Our People’s Vote would be to LEAVE the EU.
If we were offered another vote it would be:
to LEAVE the EU,
rather than,
to Remain in the EU.
We understand that difficult decisions are necessary, and we want Government and Parliament to work together to achieve the best outcome which should not include remaining in the EU.
This petition is running concurrently with another petition titled, “Our People’s Vote would be to remain in the EU”.
We want parliament to debate the signatures on both petitions as a guide to the current will of the people as we approach key decisions on Brexit.
This petition is different to others as the similar but opposite worded petition running in parallel, and with unbiased wording, should provide a reasonable comparison on current will of the people.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
There are already petitions about leaving the EU. You could sign one of these petitions if it calls for something you'd like to happen. You're more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
