Make a legal requirement for MP'switching parties to submit to a new election.
It is a perversion of democracy if MP's having been elected by a constituency on a manifesto completely abandon that for whatever reason and join a different party, sometimes diametrically opposed to the understanding upon which they were elected. It is a betrayal of their constituents.
